Online Teaching
With the onset of Covid 19 we have embarked upon online tuition. If you are interested in having lessons online, you will need at least a tablet or laptop, stable broadband and a keyboard with a minimum of 4 octaves and speakers. Guidance will be given as to the best way to set up devices to get the most out of this type of lesson.

Piano Lessons – Bollington, Near Macclesfield, Cheshire
I am an experienced piano teacher and began my teaching practice in 2000. I now have a busy week teaching pupils between the ages of 6 and 76.
Lessons are taken on a fabulous Yamaha YUS3. I am happy to teach a range of levels from complete beginners to students of grade 8 standard. I follow the ABRSM syllabus but also draw on musical repertoire from lots of genres and my teaching is based on the individual’s requirements.
My aim is to encourage all my students to develop at their own pace and to play with confidence, musicality and to become independent learners.
I try and make lessons as enjoyable as possible and have a relaxed and flexible teaching style. I encourage all my students to develop an effective and disciplined practice regime.
Learning to play the piano has many benefits:
- Improved concentration
- Develops and strengthens memory
- Improves coordination
- Can offer a deep sense of personal achievement, enjoyment and fulfilment.
